VARLIS umbrella

One umbrella for technical software and playable worlds.

VARLIS brings together public Android releases, immersive training systems, mixed-reality prototypes, and AI-assisted software work without forcing every project into the same shape.

Games

Cursed Procession leads the public Android release path, with more mobile and mixed-reality games planned under the VARLIS umbrella.

Training

Scientific VR and mixed-reality training remains a core public capability for explaining instruments, workflows, and systems that are normally hidden inside the black box.

AI Tools

AI-assisted software is part of the long-term product direction, referenced carefully while individual tools prepare for their own launches.

Public releases

Starting with Android games.

The immediate public release path starts with Cursed Procession, an Android game built for Google Play. Future VARLIS releases can include more Android games, practical apps, and mixed-reality game experiments, while larger products can receive dedicated websites when they are ready.

First release

Cursed Procession

An Android game release that gives VARLIS a concrete public product and Play Store presence.

Next games

Mobile and MR worlds

Additional games can range from focused puzzle systems to mixed-reality diorama worlds and hand-tracked Quest experiments.

Future apps

Useful software releases

VARLIS can also support smaller Android utilities and practical software products alongside games.

Scientific VR/MR training

Training for the systems inside the black box.

VARLIS also builds immersive training systems for scientific and technical work: instrument training, workflow guidance, remote demonstrations, mixed-reality overlays, and AI-assisted learning prototypes. This work is public capability, not a hidden product launch.

AI and technical software

Serious tools, revealed carefully.

VARLIS includes AI-assisted software work, local-first tooling, scientific editing systems, animation workflows, and other technical products. Some of that work is still preparing for separate launches, so this site keeps the category visible without revealing private details too early.

Coming soon

Alepou

A local AI workspace for Claude Code, Codex CLI, and Gemini CLI. Project-first, local-first, BYO CLI, and Windows first.

In development

Animation workflows

AI-assisted production workflows for creating animation assets and sprite sheets for games and interactive software.

In development

Scientific editing tools

Specialized AI-assisted software for technical writing, scientific editing, and expert review workflows.

Public rule for now: Cursed Procession and scientific VR/MR training can be concrete. Unreleased tools stay high-level until their own launch moments.

Upcoming directions

More games and product lines are forming.

After Cursed Procession, VARLIS can grow through a mix of Android games, mixed-reality experiments, scientific learning systems, and practical software. These entries are roadmap signals, not release promises.

Strategy game

Byzantile

A Byzantine-art-inspired RTS direction using stylized animation and sprite-based production workflows.

Quest prototype

Fistflight

A hand-tracked drone flight game direction built around physical control and spatial play.

Mixed reality

Diorama game worlds

2D game ideas rebuilt as 2.5D worlds floating in the player room on Quest 3.

Science learning

Quantum learning games

Game concepts for learning quarks, quantum physics, and scientific ideas through interaction.

Android games

Puzzle releases

Smaller mobile games can provide focused public releases while larger tools mature.

Apps

Practical software

Future Android apps and desktop tools can join VARLIS or receive dedicated sites as needed.

About

Built by a chemist who codes.

VARLIS™ is built by a PhD chemist and trained scientific-instrument engineer (Waters, Mettler Toledo, Malvern Panalytical) who also ships indie games and AI tools. That dual background — bench science and software development — is the reason VARLIS can credibly publish painted Mesoamerican tower-defense and laboratory VR training in the same year.
